Description:
Radiance Technologies, Inc. is seeking an undergraduate student with experience in chemistry/biology and analytical instrumentation to be a part of a research team developing designs and testing instrumentation and hardware for the detection/ mitigation of hazardous agents in the environment. The student will work closely with other researchers to design and fabricate hardware; to develop research plans including the experimental design; and to test samples and analyze data. The student will prepare and report findings in a research report format. The student will participate in meetings with Radiance staff and HudsonAlpha scientists in which the student will periodically present short reports.
Specific Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (required).
- Undergraduate university status in an accredited science/related curriculum. Chemistry/biology or related majors are recommended.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation and data collection and analysis.
- Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
