HudsonAlpha’s newly-founded Genome Circle to recognize major donors

HudsonAlpha’s newly-founded Genome Circle is in full swing. This major giving program will recognize all who support the institute with a tax-deductible donation of $1,000 or more during a calendar year.

These gifts support HudsonAlpha’s groundbreaking research, innovative educational outreach programs and valuable economic development efforts. Led by campaign chairs, Mr. and Mrs. John Jurenko, the Genome Circle is comprised of leaders the Jurenkos say “set the standard for philanthropic giving.”

The Genome Circle is already growing with participants who are passionate about advancing HudsonAlpha’s efforts to improve human health and quality of life.

As HudsonAlpha co-founder Jim Hudson has said, “You don’t have to be a scientist to be part of the solution. All of us have a role to play in improving human health.”

Genome Circle members will be recognized for their generosity at an annual donor appreciation dinner and will receive other member privileges, such as special DNA activities for their children and grandchildren and quarterly newsletters from Rick Myers, Ph.D., HudsonAlpha director and president.
