HUNTSVILLE, AL -The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville will host a workshop Nov. 19-20 for high school biology teachers. Participants in the workshop will learn how recent research findings and current genetic applications can be used in their classrooms.

Dr. Neil Lamb, director of educational outreach at HudsonAlpha, created a new edition of the guidebook Biotechnology Discoveries and Applications for a two-day workshop to be held Nov. 19-20.
Lessons learned at the two-day workshop will be based on the new edition of Biotechnology Discoveries and Applications, a guidebook for teachers created by Dr. Neil Lamb, director of educational outreach at HudsonAlpha.
There is no cost to teachers to attend the workshop. Meals, overnight lodging and classroom materials will be provided. The workshop also provides eight hours of professional development credit.
