HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology joins the nation in celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. MLK Day of Service is a defining moment in public engagement and volunteering as Americans across the nation step up to make communities more equitable by promoting inclusion. The MLK holiday is a federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all citizens to volunteer to improve their communities and workplace.
In harnessing King’s legacy to promote inclusion, HudsonAlpha is launching a new diversity learning initiative for its employees and associate companies. The HudsonAlpha Diversity in Practice Initiative is designed to foster diversity learning across a variety of topics to support our workforce. The goal of this initiative is to enhance learning opportunities that are grounded in cultural competency skillsets for communicating and engaging across differences within the workplace.
