Description:
The intern will work on the bioinformatic annotation and analysis of mammalian genome sequence and transcriptome data from unconventional (non-model) organisms.

This is a heavily computer-based position that requires initiative, independence and critical thinking.
Specific Requirements:
- Working knowledge of command line interface and scripting language(s) such as perl or python
- Familiarity with basic biological and genetic principles
- Strong background in, and experience with computing
- Interest in evolution, biology and natural variation
