HudsonAlpha’s A Path Forward series provides broad community awareness and education on issues related to genomic health, testing, health disparity and improved health access for minority populations. The series launched in 2021 providing community insight on Covid-19 and vaccine awareness.
Diversity in Practice Learning Series
The HudsonAlpha Diversity in Practice Learning Series aims to foster diversity learning across a variety of topics to support the Institute’s workforce. The goal of this initiative is to collaborate with diversity specialists to advance learning opportunities for HudsonAlpha employees that are grounded in cultural competency skill sets for communicating and engaging across differences within the workplace.
Between the Lines: A Real World Book Club
An exciting new opportunity to advance employee engagement on the campus of HudsonAlpha. Our Diversity Task Force will partner across campus with different departments to identify and explore a book of interest. The initiative aims to support employees in fostering inclusive dialogue.
HudsonAlpha GOMA HBCU Co-Op Program
This initiative is a three-way partnership between the Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs (State of Alabama), participating Alabama HBCUs, and HudsonAlpha. Students will be required to complete two to three work semesters in order to gain a sense of professional experience in the area of their major(s). Learn more ➞
