Celebrating Black History Month

During the month of February, the United States will celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the achievements of African American individuals, highlighting their role in America’s history, and recognizing the importance of racial equity through the practice of inclusion.  This year, HudsonAlpha’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion will partner with Rocket City Civil Rights to celebrate contributions made by Huntsville natives to the Civil Rights Movement.

HudsonAlpha’s Black History Month events include a virtual Lunch & Learn conversation with Dr. Beth Patin (Assistant Professor at Syracuse University) and Sonnie Hereford IV (Rocket City Civil Rights) to discuss Huntsville’s contribution to the Civil Rights Movement.  Register here to join the conversation on Friday, February 25 at Noon.
