A wonderful evening was celebrated at the 2015 Spring Benefit as HudsonAlpha welcomed Howard Jacob, Ph.D., to the Institute.
Jacob has joined HudsonAlpha’s distinguished team of faculty investigators as the new Executive Vice President for Genomic Medicine. Jacob was the keynote speaker at HudsonAlpha’s Spring Benefit and talked about how genomics is changing how we approach medicine. In 2009, Jacob became the first person in the world to diagnose and cure a child by sequencing his genome.
Neil Lamb, PhD, vice president for educational outreach, spoke at the 2015 Spring Benefit and shared how genomic medicine has evolved since the Human Genome Project and what we can expect for the future.
