APPLE Program
Let HudsonAlpha coordinate a lab activity in your classroom with the APPLE (Advanced Placement Program for Learning Enhancement) program. For the visit, volunteer scientists and collegiate students will bring the equipment, materials and resources needed to perform Enzyme Catalysis or Transformation labs. During the labs, students have the opportunity to interact with volunteers and learn more about STEM related careers. Our goal is a 1:4 volunteer to student ratio to provide more support for lab instruction and to introduce the students to a variety of professional opportunities in both academia and industry.
APPLE program is free of charge to classrooms and teachers of AP Biology in the Madison County metro area. The program runs from August to April of each school year. For more information or to serve as a volunteer, please contact Ms. Dasi Price at [email protected] or [email protected].
