The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology and Urban Engine teamed up to host the fourth annual HudsonAlpha Tech Challenge (HATCH) April 16-25. The virtual life sciences hackathon brought together participants from across the globe who took on challenges in biotech, genomics, genetics and other life sciences.
Winners were announced May 2 on the HudsonAlpha Twitch Channel:

- High School Category, 1st place – Teddy
- College/Professionals Category, 3rd place – Falcon
- College/Professionals Category, 2nd place – AL Family of Trees
- College/Professionals Category, 1st place – Trick-Or-Tree
