Sponsored by the Alabama Power Foundation, The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, a non profit genomics and genetic research institute in Huntsville, is offering Free cancer genetic risk testing to women and men at least 19-years-old in the Montgomery area.The Information is Power test allows individuals to know their inherited risk for certain cancers including breast, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. We are collaborating with a few Montgomery area physicians to provide this testing. Dr. John Jernigan is our first physician partner. Additional partners will be added soon.
