Harnessing the delicious power of grain and yeast
Presented by Dr. Adam Hott
Today
12pm-1pm
HudsonAlpha Auditorium
A few simple ingredients, a little time, and a whole lot of patience leads to a liquid success. Adam Hott, digital applications lead and expanding solutions expert in HudsonAlpha’s education outreach, will lead this homebrewed edition of Learning Camp.
Adam will discuss the basic equipment, ingredients and process needed to create a craft beer at home. Participants will learn how to take a basic brew kit and jazz it up to make a truly unique beer. Other brews such as meads and ciders will also be discussed.
Adam Hott has been brewing at home since it was legally allowable to do so in the state of Alabama (and that’s the story he’s sticking to). He brews often and loves to try new recipes. His niche is taking a kit brew and making it a little better by adding his own flair to it.
Feel free to bring in your lunch
