Groups of students filing up and down the atrium stairs have become a common sight again this fall with field trips led by HudsonAlpha’s Educational Outreach team. In fact, students from Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School in Montgomery, Ala., are on a field trip today led by HudsonAlpha’s Educational Outreach team.
Our state-of-the-art facilities allow students to explore genetics concepts and experience activities associated with several biotechnology careers. These hands-on, laboratory-based field trips are tied to Alabama course of study standards, put high-tech biotechnology tools in the hands of students, and engage them in scientific thinking.
