In May, Kerry Fehrenbach and Scott Moore of Intergraph | Hexagon visited HudsonAlpha for the naming of their Idea Chair. Major donors to HudsonAlpha have the opportunity to name the tables and chairs in the HudsonAlpha atrium, a place where scientists, entrepreneurs and educators come together to share ideas that lead to groundbreaking discoveries. The Idea Chairs and Idea Tables represent not only the collaborations on the campus but also those with HudsonAlpha’s many friends and supporters.
Intergraph | Hexagon has supported HudsonAlpha since the Institute opened. Kerry Fehrenbach, vice president for global marketing at Intergraph | Hexagon, shared why supporting HudsonAlpha is important to the company and its employees:
“Hexagon | Intergraph has been a major sponsor of the annual Tie The Ribbons event which supports breast and ovarian cancer research. We’ve also been a sponsor of the Spring Benefit, which supports research initiatives for cancer, neurological diseases, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, and obesity. Hexagon | Intergraph is proud to join HudsonAlpha in such worthy causes and has supported HudsonAlpha every year since its founding.
Hexagon | Intergraph was founded in the Madison and Huntsville area. Our continued success and growth is due to the investments we make in our employees and the communities where we work. The programs we support are often near and dear to the hearts of our employees; in fact, each year, an internal employee committee determines which causes we support.
As a technology company, we feel a connection in bringing the latest research to fight disease. All of us are touched each day or know someone who battles cancer, diabetes, and more. It takes all of us to fight the good fight, and we feel HudsonAlpha is making great strides to find the necessary cures.”
Thank you for your years of support of HudsonAlpha.
HudsonAlpha Idea Tables and Idea Chairs are named in recognition of gifts ranging from $50,000 to $200,000. To support HudsonAlpha’s mission and to learn more about naming opportunities, please contact Lynne Berry at [email protected].
