Community Engagement and Diversity Task Force

Leaders in bioscience across the nation are currently confronted with a new set of challenges to establish a diverse and inclusive workforce reflective of the broader community. To meet our Institute’s efforts to advance a diverse and inclusive workforce, HudsonAlpha launched a Community Engagement and Diversity Task Force.

The goal of the task force is to focus on DEI initiatives, leadership support, assessment, communication, professional development, employee recruitment, and establishing a shared diversity action plan that highlights four target areas: communication awareness, diversity learning and training, STEM workforce development, and diversity recruitment and retention. Our task force consists of employees across the HudsonAlpha campus at various levels of authority.
