The HudsonAlpha campus parking areas and roadways are scheduled to be resurfaced and painted starting this Friday, July 1. This is required maintenance work.
The construction will be conducted over the course of two weekends – weather permitting – in order to minimize the impact to employees and visitors on campus. Work will begin the afternoon of July 1 and will continue through the July 4 holiday. The work is scheduled to be completed the weekend of July 9-10.
The building will still be accessible for those who need to complete weekend work, but expect limited access to roadways and parking spaces. However, access to McMillian Park will be closed until work there is complete.
Please note that if the weather interrupts the proposed schedule, we will communicate any changes and updates as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Barricades and signs will be put in place to direct you to the available parking spaces. Crossing these barricades is strictly prohibited.
Please note, no vehicles may be left on the property overnight during the dates mentioned above. Any vehicles parked overnight will be towed.
If you have any allergies or health concerns, please be aware that the building and grounds will have a “tar” odor from the chemicals used in the resurfacing process.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
