Brittany Lasseigne, PhD, a postdoc in the Myers Lab, has accepted a two-year fellowship from the Prevent Cancer Foundation. For the fellowship, Lasseigne plans to design, test and optimize an assay for kidney cancer diagnosis. Ultimately, the diagnostic test could aid in the early detection and prevention of kidney cancer.
