April HudsonAlpha Learning Camp

HudsonAlpha and the UAH English Department are offering a free presentation about public science communication.

Please join Dr. Leah Ceccarelli, professor of communication from the University of Washington and noted scholar of science communication, for her presentation “Communicating Science to the Public.” Through case studies and her own research, Dr. Ceccarelli will discuss how scientists can better engage the public through popular books, articles, blogs, and speeches.

“Communicating Science to the Public” will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 in the HudsonAlpha auditorium. This learning camp is open to anyone who communicates with the public about scientific topics, including scientists, science teachers and students, writers and public relations experts. Please RSVP at events@hudsonalpha.org to ensure a seat!

This learning camp is hosted by HudsonAlpha and the UAH English Department and funded by the UAH Humanities Center
