The GSL offers RNA discovery and profiling services through next-gen sequencing and microarray.

Experiments may be categorized as

• Transcript discovery experiments which aim to characterize the expression of both known mRNA transcripts and unique and non-coding RNA species
• Transcript profiling experiments which aim to characterize the expression of known mRNA transcripts in samples
• miRNA discovery experiments which characterize the expression of microRNA in samples

Sequencing platforms offered include Illumina, SOLiD, and Roche 454, with the best choice of platform dependent on the goals of the experiment. Microarray platforms include Affymetrix and Illumina.
